We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to lead a childcare service located in Bondi Junction area . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early childhood professional to play a key role in the ongoing management of a well-established early childhood service. About the Role: As Centre Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the service and drive strategic initiatives to ensure the centre meets and exceeds organisational goals and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, a focus on quality education and care, and a commitment to building strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community. Key Responsibilities: Provide visionary leadership and foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with families, children, and the community Effectively manage centre budgets and resources to support sustainable growth Lead staff development initiatives, mentoring educators to achieve their full potential Promote the service through community engagement and strategic marketing to increase occupancy Guide the centre toward achieving and exceeding National Quality Standards About You: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) A current Working With Children Check Comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF) Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Centre Director in a large centre or similar leadership role in the childcare sector Demonstrated ability to meet financial and compliance targets Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills Previous experience establishing a service is highly regarded Unrestricted working rights in Australia What’s on Offer: Competitive salary: $110,000 – $130,000 super (based on qualifications and experience) Full-time, permanent role with on-site parking and excellent transport access Extensive training, development, and internal promotion opportunities Fully funded and accredited leadership and management programs Career advancement pathways toward roles such as Area Manager, or Quality Advisor Wellbeing and staff support initiatives How to Apply: If this sounds like the perfect next step in your career, please click “APPLY” or contact elizabeth@earlyhood.com.au We look forward to hearing from passionate leaders ready to make a meaningful difference in early childhood education.
